I figured I'd do something a little different to break the CG monotony so I dug a few (old!) pieces out of my portfolio to share. These are all from the days when I made my primary income as an illustrator. It probably also shows why I never made much money at it ;P I got burnt out from producing volumes of illustrations at fair low rates. Honestly, in retrospect, I was too slow to be practically commercial. At least in that medium. But in DAZ Studio I can win just about timed challenge you throw at me ;)

This was a piece done for an RPG character collection book. It's supporting the Star Trek RPG (duh!).

Great job indeed I like his expression and stance. Also the shading on teh planet at the background is well done for traditional art.

Thanks! My older traditional art is a mixed bag, when I view it now, but given it's 20-25 years old, I tend to see it through a different set of eyes and by different standards from when I created it. That knife can cut both ways, though. There are a few pieces I look at and am awed that I actually craft! :lol: But only a few...
