Nice image. Take a look on eBay sometime. There's 6ft pre-made lit Discovery model. Up there periodically, it's a piece of art.

Next time you see it, please send a link! I think the 2010 Discovery is (or was, when I last knew) hanging in the lobby of the Turner offices in Atlanta.

its a garage kit made by hobby shop owner in NY or NJ. I think the price is $4k maybe $3250 on sale. He may do 4 a year.

I watch them, always hopeful that one wont sell and somehow the price drops and then.... well, HE^&%%% freezes over:)

They seem to sell, not sure who gets them but I truly envy them:) Not only is it big and lighted, I can see his build and finishing work are fine and crisp, a real pro...
