That stuck to my heart how deranged things have gotten in those years.
Yet your image do show the other side of that very odd part of history, how their scientists when given free hands could go ahead and reach for ideas which the world then took 50 years go catch up with.
And as such I view your image as carries of a more positive message, and that is what can be accomplished if we could leave the scientists to work without leash or reins.
