This is really cool. It actually reminds me of how, in the Star Fleet Battles version of the "Trek" continuity, the Federation and Gorn are actually staunch allies, protecting each other against Romulan aggression. =)

Really. The Gorn were allies in SFB? I don't think we used them much in our scenarios.

Yes, as far as I know, the Gorn and Federation were allied against the Romulans. To be honest, I am most familiar with this setup from the computer game version, "Starfleet Command," but I think Interplay was faithful to SFB with most of the stuff they brought over when they made the computer game. (I do have one SFB manual back at my parents' house.)

Using the DAZ "battle station" as Gorn ship just came to me in a flash... but honestly, once you start thinking of this in terms of a Gorn craft, it's hard to see it as anything else?! It somehow seems like such a natural for "Gorn-design".
