Stallion Charge by Arcas-Art Stallion Charge by Arcas-Art
Another "what-if" in the 1946 skies above Europe. A pair of P-58 Stallions harass a trio of Ho229's heading towards Allied targets. Their Me262 escort responds (too late) and tried to get a bead on the escaping aircraft.

P-58 model by TheSchell [link] with my own 357th FG textures. Ho229 model by RPublishing [link] . Me262 model by Bazze [link] . Background by ElizaTibbets_Stock [link] [link] .

An interesting concept.  Reminds me a lot of the fighter aircraft in the old but still superb Japanese animated movie "Wings of Honnemeise!"

Any time. I'd love to see one of those puppies as a 1/100 scale model (maybe through Shapeways)! Please?

That'd be cool! It's not my design, though, so I can't make that call.

Thanks a lot! I'm a sucker for cool pusher props so I HAD to hop on this one once I saw his model :)

Doesn't that aircraft have a lot of rudder on while it's rolling?
